Privacy Policy

Verity is a dating app where every member is verified. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it and the choices you have. “We” means Serkan Hekimoğlu, the individual who runs Verity. Questions: support@verityapp.net.

What we collect

Why we use it

Who can see what

We don’t sell your data and we don’t share it for advertising.

Your selfie

Your selfie is encrypted in transit and in storage, is never shown to other members, and is seen only by our verification team. It’s kept while your account exists so we can check new photos against it, and it’s deleted when you delete your account.

Where your data is stored

Verity’s servers and files are in the European Union. Some providers may process data outside the EU; when they do, they’re bound by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, photos, selfie, letters and contact details. We keep only what we must: records of reports and moderation decisions (to keep banned accounts out), purchase records (for tax law) and our security log.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, staff access is limited to what each role needs and is logged, and sign-in uses one-time email codes, so there’s no password to steal.

Your rights

You can see, correct and download your data, object to some uses, withdraw consent and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). Write to support@verityapp.net for anything you can’t do in the app. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Age

Verity is only for people aged 18 and over. We remove accounts of anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
